Sean Evans Interviewed by Mr. Coven Delacruz (Reposted)

I had the pleasure of interviewing a young film fanatic, and so far has accomplished alot.

Covenfilm: what made you decide to get into helping people in the film industry?

Sean Evans: I've always been a big fan of movies ever since i was a child. i feel as thou they've been along with me on a journey through life. i mean I'm only 20 now but through sad times, happy times, joyful times i can always think of a film that either helped towards that feeling or helped a certain situation out. big budget films don't really need much marketing as they market themselves, low budget films are unknown to the majority of the public and they need the most help.this is where i come in,spreading the word, creating videos, marketing trailers and just trying my best to help these guys out.once I'd worked on a lower budget films,i helped with higher budget flicks.they pretty much market themselves but it helped me to get interviews from cast and crew.which all went towards my movie oriented pages both on twitter and YouTube.

Covenfilm: who all have you helped promote their films?

Sean Evans: I've helped many films so it would take awhile to name the majority.the ones that come to mind are Chris Wither-spoon's film rage,Joe raffia's six degrees of hell,ad lanes invasion of the not quite dead and most recently the superb no saints for sinners starring good friend Rick Crawford.

Covenfilm: what is your goal for the future?

Sean Evans: my goal is to market more low budget films but also more high profile films too as that way there could be a possibility of my marketing being accepted to a film or production company.that would be my main goal,to somehow work in the industry and provide my marketing skills and abilities live on set or live during a production. also to get my YouTube and twitter pages as popular as possible.without supporters and fans ,my page and all the effort would be for nothing, and i cant thank each and every person who has supported me thus far.

Covenfilm: are you expanding from YouTube and twitter?

Sean Evans:at the moment no. my twitter page has over 10,000 followers,my YouTube has around 2,000 subscribers. i don't feel that they are big enough numbers for me to expand.if views and subscribers increase greatly over the next year or 2 then there is an idea i had of making a website marketing services to the industry, but that's a hope and a prayer away.for now I'm doing it purely because its what i love to do and its in a industry i love and one I'm passionate about.

Covenfilm: where can people find your stuff?

Sean Evans:

My YouTube is http://www.youtube.com/user/BackToTheMoviesPage/featured
My twitter page- https://twitter.com#!/bck2themovies

Covenfilm: thanks for the interview sean.

Sean Evans: My pleasure, thank you

No Saints For Sinners - 28.05.2012 Release

Mickey O'Hara is a committed IRA member but his days of freedom fighting are long gone, leaving him peddling drugs and disenchanted "the cause." When a deal goes wrong, things take a dramatic turn for Mickey, who is forced to kill his partner. Marked for death, Mickey flees to LA, determined to make a fresh start and leave his violent past behind. When a close friend runs afoul of some powerful drug dealers, Mickey temporarily resorts to his old ways to help him get out of trouble. However, instead of making things better, Mickey unwittingly sets off a chain of events that reawakens the ghosts of his past and threatens to destroy everything he holds dear.

Back To The Movies had the great pleasure of marketing this film and doing bits and bobs here and there for one of the main actors Rick Crawford whos quickly become a good friend of mine. The film is superb and this is Rick's debut film to be released on DVD so it needs as much support as possible.

No Saints For Sinners is due for release on the 28th May 2012 and will be sold at all major retailers

Here's a little video I made for the release, there are many other videos for NSFS on youtube including more trailers.

Jon Hurwitz (American Pie) Interview

I had the pleasure of getting an Interview with Harold and Kumar writer Jon Hurwitz, most recently known for directing the new American Pie Reunion, Now with Back To The Movies being such a small scale page it was a great honor to have such a well known guest agree for an interview and I must say it went superb. The only other interview experience I've had was interviewing Dick Warlock who played Michael Myers in Halloween, but with this interview I didn't feel under pressure or anything, It was like talking to an old friend as iv grown up with American Pie so my knowledge of it didn't need any research or any preparation as such, the conversation flowed easy and we had a great interview. Even afterwards receiving compliments of my professionalism and how well the interview went and how much Jon enjoyed it.
Please find attached the video link to the short interview but there is also an extended interview featuring more questions and more depth information about American Pie and upcoming projects Jon is working on.
Enjoy guys !
This could be the start of many more interviews and movie related goodies so thanks to all my fans, subscribers and followers for making all this possible and lets enjoy this great journey together !

Jack And Jill

Jack And Jill
Going in to see an Adam Sandler film I always expect a film where I can turn off my brain and have a good old laugh, seeing the trailer for this film I saw cheap laughs and a very bad imitation of Adam Sandler trying to be a woman, we've all seen this before, male characters taking on female roles such as Eddie Murphy in The Nutty Professor and the loveable Robin Williams as Mrs Doubtfire.  With Eddie and Robin however they managed to portray female emotion, over exaggerated in The Nutty Professor but the appliances and make up really changed how Eddie looked and he looked convincing just as Robin did in Mrs Doubtfire.  Adam Sandler however fails miserably its like his makeup team have strapped some earrings on a wig no prosthetics and a dress with some melons shoved down there. Its a poor attempt and the acting makes it even worse.

Im not going to explain the story line, im not going to explain the stupid seen it all before antics, all comedic moments in this film have been done countless times and im fed up of it. The only thing that kept me watching from start to finish was Katie Holmes, shes got a warm glow about her in this film and the fact she put up with Adam Sandler from start to finish in this film, she deserves an oscar.

Adam Sandler was my favourite comedian of all time, his movies are superb but after seeing this I just feel let down and dissapointed, it was terrible.
